This was a fantastic episode. The series just seems to be improving with every hour. The flashbacks all have meaning and this week they were the key to Henry solving what really caused Gloria's death. I'm excited to see where the story goes next.
From that little seed of an idea came Forever, which eventually evolved into a strange, philosophical, and often haunting series that puts traditional expectations about love and marriage to the test. And it does it in a series with a beguiling puzzle-box structure that, among other things, ensures that the audience has absolutely no warning about how Forever intends to challenge them.
In the avalanche of TV series we binge through and frantically regurgitate our thoughts on, few have made us stop completely, let alone deeply reconsider our thoughts about, well... life. It was a thrilling experience, which is strange for a show this quiet and meditative. So we decided to wait to write on it until we could discuss the vital secret that makes it so powerful. Now that the show is streaming on Amazon, we can.
Forever is a series about a marriage. It opens with a very Up-like montage, chronicling the highlights, lowlights, ups and downs, and everyday just being of the marriage between Oscar (Armisen) and June (Rudolph).

Emmy nominees Maya Rudolph (Bridesmaids) and Fred Armisen (Portlandia) lead this comedy series as a married couple looking to shake up 12 years of mundane suburban life. What they find, however, is something otherworldly...
To provide some intuition for the problem, the data is a price series for a stock index, and I am interested in knowing, at each time, what is the highest price change that the series achieves before setting off a stop loss order at price s. For instance, with s=2, we are looking for the largest peak between now and when the price reaches its current level minus 2.
"This edition of Barn Runner sees Prick go from one bad situation to another, and like a true glutton for punishment he comes back for more! With considerably improved (and much, much longer) cutscenes than the previous game, Barn Runner 5 establishes itself as a witty, entertaining (if light on gameplay) entry in the series, and the verbose writing is well worth enduring for the punchlines."
